This is a less invasive option than traditional full shoulder replacement 和 involves the insertion of a biodegradable 和 inflatable device under the edge of the shoulder. Although it has been successfully performed in Europe for over ten years, 纽约医院 和 Dr. Noerdlinger are the first to acquire 和 practice this technology in Maine.

It provides a simple 和 minimally invasive alternative arthroscopic surgical treatment for a rotator cuff with a massive tear.
